ABUG South - October 2025

It's that time of year again - ABUG South, the Autumn edition. I had another great time at this superb event surrounded by like-minded Acorn fans, tinkering around with old machines and finding out about everyone's projects, as well as enjoying some great (and some not so great!) games and excellent chat. "Mac & Cheese" Fixathon - October 2025

On 11th and 12th October, as part of my volunteering with the Acorn team at the National Museum of Computing, I helped to run a fixathon event, dubbed the "Mac & Cheese" fixathon, due to the focus on Apple Macintosh classics and Acorn cheese wedge units. Getting into the Pascal groove

After the recent breakthrough I had with getting my language server working, I decided to invest some time into refactoring what I've built so far - partly to make the work of extending the language server easier as I move forwards and also as a useful exercise in getting closer to Pascal and how to write better code.I read up on the correct naming conventions for Pascal variables, classes, types
