At the heart of the Science Museum's Information Age exhibition lies the gold-plated BBC Micro, a fascinating object that has often made me wonder how it got to be there... so I decided to find out! Join me on the quest to find answers to how it was made, why it was made, who originally owned it and how it ended up in the Science Museum!
This first ever 'Special' for my channel will be available as a YouTube premiere on Monday 29th August at 9pm, with a live chat for anyone who'd like to join. And, of course, it will be available to watch at any time on my channel thereafter.
I'd like to give special thanks to Bryan Hogan (

Music for this video has been kindly made available from @negativecharge7443, featuring original BBC Micro game music from "Icarus" by Powerhouse Software and "Galaforce" composed by Martin Galway.
