Well, the wait is over! The Repton series - every game from Repton 1 through to Repton Infinity - has taken the 3rd place entry in my series. Repton is the Beeb's mascot and thoroughly deserves his bronze place spot on the podium. Originally developed by Tim Tyler in 1985 for Superior Software, Repton went on to feature in multiple sequels, including the awesome Repton 3 - this time developed by Matthew Atkinson - whose innovative in-game editor would give rise to ever more Repton episodes, including Life of Repton, Around The World In 40 Screens and Repton Thru Time. Repton Infinity, by Davids Lawrence and Acton, was to be the last of the 'original era' Repton games, coming out in 1988.
