Econet In A Nutshell - Part 1

First in a two-part video series exploring the wonderful world of Econet, Acorn's very own network.

In this video I'll be taking a look at the history of Econet, what it is, how it works, what you need to run it and what you can actually do with it once it's up and running.

I've been helped a lot in this video by a number of people, but I'd like to especially thank IanS and Cruxinc (Elliot) from Stardot who contributed so much of their time in helping me with my research and providing some really excellent photography to help bring this video to life.

I'd also like to credit my freelance artists who put together such excellent diagrams and illustrations:

Thilina Sampath (vector tracing): https://www.fiverr.com/thilinasampa834

Iulian Thomas (classroom drawing): https://www.fiverr.com/weedstation

Dima (Econet animated logo): https://www.fiverr.com/masterpiece_dt

And of course, the marvellous BeebMaster, whose website you can visit here: https://www.beebmaster.co.uk/BeebShop/Default.html

If you want to see the ABUG interview with Andrew Gordon on Econet, please check that out here: https://youtu.be/AelSEDNabTw?si=5v7CYZEgauxywUy5

I also highly recommend RetroBytes' two-parter on Econet, which was a big inspiration for this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GrtpuWxhHY
